2. When would the curb ramp be installed?

The City uses federal grants and Measure L Funds to construct ADA curb ramps in the public right of way and usually this is in a 3 year cycle.

3. How are the curb ramps prioritized?

The City prioritizes the curb ramp locations by number of requests for that specific location.

4. Can I request a handicap parking spot (Blue Curb and sign) in front of my residence?

5. Do you handle ADA issue with private business?

No, on site ADA issues are handled with the Building Department, they can be contacted at 209-577-5232.

6. I have an ADA issue with a bus stop, who do I contact?

Contact the City’s Transit Division at 209-577-5295

7. I have an ADA issue with a current area of sidewalk, who do I contact?
