Recreation is for everyone! Financial Assistance now available for kids, disabled adults and seniors for all City of Modesto Recreation programs. The Recreation Leisure Bucks Financial Assistance Program is for disadvantaged individuals, disabled individuals and senior citizens wishing to participate in a City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods recreational program. Youth participants must be 17 years of age or younger and meet eligibility requirements for low-income families. We also have assistance available for low-income seniors over 62 years and adults with disabilities.
Approved applicants will be eligible for a maximum award of $100 per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) which may be used as a credit toward registration fees for City of Modesto recreation programs, swim cards, or senior activity cards.
This program is funded annually through the proceeds from the Modesto Spirit of Giving 5k Run held in December each year.
