Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, the applicant must be the primary Account Holder on the City of Modesto utility account and must be a current recipient of an eligible public assistance program.
Eligible Public Assistance Programs
- CARE Discount- Modesto Irrigation District (MID), Turlock Irrigation District (TID), or Pacific Gas and Electric(PG&E)
- CalWorks
- CalFresh
- General Assistance
- Medi-Cal
- California Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- State Supplementary Payments (SSP)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
