On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the City of Modesto will swear in the newly elected City Council Members Eric Alvarez, Nick Bavaro, and Jeremiah Williams. The ceremony will take place in the Modesto City Council Chamber at 5:30 PM.
The November 8, 2022, General Election was certified by the Stanislaus County Clerk Recorder, Registrar of Voters on Wednesday, November 23. The final canvass of ballots produced results in the races for City of Modesto Member, City Council District 2, District 4, and District 5. Eric E. Alvarez was certified as the winner of District 2, Nick Bavaro was certified as the winner of District 4, and Jeremiah Williams was certified as the winner of District 5. The three Members Elect will be sworn into office during a special City Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 5:30 PM in the Modesto City Council Chambers at 1010 Tenth St. in Modesto.
